General technic questions

  • Do you support the ability to assign multiple IP addresses on a single dedicated (dedicated) or virtual server (VDS)?

You can assign up to 8 IP addresses to one dedicated (dedicated) or virtual server (VDS).

  • What service control panels do you provide?

Hosting is managed through the ISPmanager panel

Virtual servers (VDS) are managed as hardware (for rebooting, stopping, etc.) through VDSmanager, for VDS administration you can install prepared images with built-in and configured panels VestaCP, Ajenti, Zpanel (free) or ISPmanager 6 (paid) at your request

Management of dedicated servers as hardware (for rebooting, stopping, etc.) is carried out through DCImanager, to administer a dedicated server, you can install prepared images with built-in and configured panels VestaCP (free) or ISPmanager 6 (paid) according to your desire

You can install any control panel you see fit. we provide root access to the servers.

  • Do you provide data backup service?

Yes, we provide an additional backup hosting service, which is an offline storage that can be connected via FTP, WebDAV, SCP protocols or set up backup using rsync.

  • How can I change my IP address?

You can order an additional IP for your server. This service is paid.
Also, you can delete your server and, perhaps, when creating a new server, you will get a different IP. Deleting a paid server does not return money to your account.

  • Am I getting a dedicated "white" static IP address for the ordered service?

You can order an additional IP for your server. This service is paid.
Also, you can delete your server and, perhaps, when creating a new server, you will get a different IP. Deleting a paid server does not return money to your account.

  • What are your default security settings (ports, firewalls)?

By default, all ports are open, there are no restrictions on our part. We recommend that customers set their own security settings and take care of the security of their services.

  • Do you offer hosting or dedicated (dedicated) and virtual servers (VDS) on Windows OS?

Yes. We are Microsoft SPLA and are ready to provide you with licensed Microsoft software, in particular Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008 R2.

  • What is your architecture and technical implementation?

Despite the low prices, our architecture represents the same type of high-availability clusters, which are built using open source and commercial software (software) and hardware (hardware) that have been tested in production for years.

All servers run on CentOS 7, which provides a homogeneous environment and simplifies both administration and security.

    All services run on clusters.

    All clusters are standard.

The standard cluster consists of nodes based on Dell C6100 servers with 6-core Intel Xeon and storage based on upermicro servers with 6-core Intel Xeon and SSD RAID 5 based on LSI controllers.

The cluster is served by Juniper and IBM switches and is connected via 10Gbps uplink.

Each node is connected by two 1Gbps interfaces to ensure the fault tolerance of the physical link and has the ability to build internal virtual links between virtual machines up to 40Gbps.

The storages are connected by 10Gbps interfaces via iSCSI.

  • How do I get the details to access the ordered services?

After ordering the service, you will receive access details to the email that you specified during registration. Also, you can find out these data from the instructions for the ordered service in the Personal Account.

  • Why didn't I receive the details for accessing the ordered services by email?

First of all, check your Spam folder, the email may have gone there by mistake. If you still do not receive an email, please contact technical support for assistance.

  • Do you have DNS?

Yes. You can count on our DNS to be used if needed.

    Server names:

    ns1.gmhost.hosting
    ns2.gmhost.hosting
    ns3.gmhost.hostingv

  • How to bind a domain name to an ordered service?

If you have registered a domain with us (or transferred it to us), we will provide you with a free DNS hosting service. You can order it from your personal account. You will receive setup instructions in the service activation email.

If you registered your domain elsewhere, you can use our DNS servers or use the current
In the first case, you need to change the NS of the domain server to ours, order a free DNS hosting and make the settings according to the instructions in the activation letter.
The second option is to register the ip address that is assigned to the ordered service as an A-record for your domain name in the DNS control panel at the registrar that currently supports it.

  • Why is the geolocation information for my IP address (GeoIP, location) incorrect?

The geolocations of all IP addresses are handled by different governing bodies that issue these IP addresses for use by ISPs. The mismatch can occur between the time we get the new IP pool and the time the IP pool geography is updated by the organizations responsible for updating their databases.

Shards of these organizations work in their own wet regime, we can’t get caught up in swedishness, for such a stink to slacken geographical changes. If it’s inconsistency, then it means that the data will be updated without a hitch.
As you know, in the GeoIP database itself, the data about the IP address is displayed incorrectly, so you can return to our technical support service. From our side, we will try to speed up the process of correcting data as much as possible.

  • Do you have an API?
